Faraja Women Center

Faraja Women Center’s mission is to support young single mothers and vulnerable girls living in high-risk situations. Thus, they contribute to promote knowledge improvement through education, health care, livelihood and motivate sustainable development that allows these women to stand on their own two feet.

Their goal is to create a bond between children and their mothers and to create love out of suffering. The center provides young mothers with training such as cooking, hair care and sewing so they can become financially independent. At the same time, their children are raised and cared for in Faraja’s Montessori day care center. Thanks to the Montessori education program, trainee teachers are trained in Montessori teaching methods to help children develop their personalities and make a valuable contribution to society, with consideration for the community, the environment and the world as a whole.
