Tuk Tuk tour

Tuk Tuk tour

On this excursion you will ride in the back of a local Tuk Tuk, with a guide from Light of Hope, through the cozy village of Mto wa Mbu. You drive along the long thoroughfare past colorful stalls selling fruits and vegetables, stores of all shapes and sizes on both sides of the road. Mopeds, tuk tuks, cyclists and cars all mixed together, Mot wa Mbu is a bustling village. Mto wa Mbu is known for its cultural diversity and for its colorful market where local crafts and products can be found AND there is a Masai market with all the same souvenirs. The Tuk Tuks can drive through the narrow streets and you can stop wherever you want. During the tour you will visit a farm, local houses, a school and a church. You will make a stop at a local bar, where you can taste “mbege,” a traditional banana and millet beer. This will give you an insight into the vibrant and colorful environment of the local people in Tanzania.

This Tuk Tuk tour is not only a great way to get acquainted with the local people of Tanzania, but by doing so you also contribute to a better future for the local community. With the income from this bicycle tour, Light of Hope Organisation supports the local (orphan) children. Thanks to this support, the children, who have finished their elementary school, can continue their development.
