Of course, not everyone needs to go all the way to the summit of Mount Meru or the snowy peak of Kilimanjaro. There is plenty to see and do during a day trip or a two-day trip on either mountain. The many hiking trails in Arusha or Kilimanjaro National Park are easily accessible and offer a unique experience.
For those who want to “taste” the atmosphere of a mountain climb, we have put together a number of day trips.
Kilimanjaro one-day trek: via the Marangu route to Mandara hut โฌ 250, – p.p.
Kilimanjaro two-day trek: via the Marangu route to the first camp including overnight โฌ 495,- p.p.
Mount Meru one-day trail: hiking route through Arusha NP โฌ 250, – p.p.
Mount Meru two-day route: start in Arusha NP and overnight in Miriakamba hut โฌ 495, – p.p.
All (multi-day) tours include transportation, English-speaking guide, porters, cooks, park and Wildlife management fees, 3 meals and unlimited water/tea/coffee.
