At Lake Natron there is an awful lot to explore. Near the Maasai village of Engaresero at the foot of the Great Rift Valley are hot springs called “hot-springs. Accompanied by a Maasai guide, you hike along the riverbed to the Engaresero Falls. During the 3-hour hike you will walk right through the immense volcanic gorge to finally discover the hot-springs and waterfalls, here you can make a refreshing splash. During the hike you may encounter mountain goats and donkeys. After returning from the hike, our guide will take you back to the lodge.

Practical
This hike is possible daily and suitable for all ages. We recommend putting on good walking shoes with a good tread and clothes that can get wet. You will not only walk along the river on rocky path, you will also walk through the river over rocks and stones and sometimes with your feet through the water. It is not an arduous hike but you must be able to walk well. Put on swimwear because at the falls you can swim. Sunscreen and cap are also recommended.
