Balloon flight over the Serengeti or Tarangire NP
A breathtaking experience!
Float over the savannah as the sun slowly rises. Around 05:00 you will be picked up at the tented camp and taken to the launch site. The experienced pilot gives the necessary safety instructions and the balloon is prepared for departure. At sunrise, the balloon takes off and you float over the vast plains, where the landscape and animals awaken. Sometimes you fly low for a unique view of the wildlife and at other times high to enjoy the panoramic view over the savannah and experience the total silence high above the national park.
After the balloon safari you will toast the successful flight with a glass of champagne in your hand and drive to the location where a bush breakfast will be waiting for you in the middle of the savannah. Enjoy a generous English champagne breakfast with all the trimmings. You will receive a certificate as a souvenir of this wonderful experience.
After breakfast you will drive back to the visitors center where your driver/guide will be waiting for you. Around 10 am you will go on another safari with your driver/guide.
Afterwards you will be brought back to the visitors center, where your driver will be waiting for you. The day still offers time for a game drive, or you can choose to return earlier to the tented camp to relax by the fire.

Practical
This excursion is possible daily, the balloon’s basket can accommodate a maximum of 16 people. This is an activity with a composite international group.
The balloon flight itself takes about 1.5 hours. Depending on the wind, this may be a little shorter or longer as they cannot land the balloon just anywhere.
NOTES: If there is too much wind or precipitation the balloon flight will be canceled and there is the possibility to fly the next day. If this is not possible because of your itinerary you will receive a refund.
