Hippo Trails Camp
Hippo Trails Camp offers accommodation under canvas in large classic tents. The tents, raised on wooden platforms, are fashionably furnished with comfortable furniture, including a king-size bed or twin beds, a desk, luggage racks, a sitting area with chairs and a coffee table. All tents have an en-suite bathroom with hot shower and flushing toilet.
The location, near Retina Hippo Pool, is a perfect starting point for wildlife spotting to the hotspots in the north and central Serengeti. Choose a picnic lunch during your game drive or a hot lunch at the camp. From the camp there are beautiful views of the river. There is plenty of room to relax in the lounge tent. Meals are served in the dining tent, which also features a bar.
Mawe Luxury Tented Camp
Located in the heart of the Serengeti, this semi-permanent tented camp offers the best year-round game viewing of the Serengeti. Mawe Tented Camp is an ideal base camp for all game drives through the Serengeti.
Rooms are en-suite and overlook the beautiful savannah of Soit-le-Motony and the Ngarenanyuki River in Central Serengeti, known for its native cats of lions, leopards and cheetahs.
Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge
Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge offers a blend of contemporary luxury and authentic African charm. The tents are built on raised wooden platforms with private bathrooms and outdoor showers. Each tent has a private terrace from which to enjoy the landscape and surroundings.
The main building consists of a lounge and dining room with a large terrace overlooking the plains of the Serengeti. The lodge has a relaxation area, an indoor and outdoor restaurant and a swimming pool. At night, a campfire is lit and you can enjoy while watching the sun set.
Sound of Silence
Sound of Silence is a private and intimate experience between you and the sheer power of the Serengeti. Almost every night the herds of antelope and zebra enter the camp for their safety during their rest stops.
The 50 mยฒ tents are very comfortable. Bedding, comforters and mattresses are of the best material, guaranteeing sleeping comfort. Hot and cold water from the tap, 24-hour electricity from the solar power plant and permanent wifi to share the photos of the day.
Sound of Silence is the only tented camp in the Serengeti to offer an ร la carte menu, taking into account most common dietary requirements. Many ingredients are delivered fresh daily. Others are preserved using state-of-the-art food processing techniques, allowing guests to expect only the best quality and taste.
ThornTree Camp
ThornTree Camp is a classic tented camp in the Seronera area of Serengeti National Park. Open year-round, the camp offers traditional Tanzanian hospitality and delicious food. There are fifteen spacious tents with screened seating areas. Bathrooms are equipped with flush toilets, hot water taps and solar-powered showers.
At the camp you will enjoy delicious meals, prepared with fresh ingredients, served in the dining tent. Adjacent is a lounge tent where you can order your favorite drink. After dinner, you can stargaze and reminisce around the campfire. There is nothing like sleeping under a tent canvas with the sounds of the African wilderness in the background.
Lahia Tented Lodge
Lahia Tented Lodge is strategically located at the top of a hill overlooking Central Serengeti and Western Serengeti, near mythical sites such as the famous cups masais, the museum at Olduvai Gorge, the Seronera Valley and the Grumeti River. The main building offers a unique 360ยบ panoramic view of the landscape. The building includes lounges, a dining room and a swimming pool.
