The park includes the imposing Mount Meru, lush forests, the grasslands of Ngurdoto Crater and the colorful Momella Lakes, known for their many wading birds. It is also home to the largest population of giraffes.  <\/p><p>Arusha National Park is also known as &#8220;the diamond amid the shadows of the giants. Here you can enjoy views of Mount Meru, Africa&#8217;s 5th largest mountain, and Mount Kilimanjaro, the largest free-standing mountain in the world. You will also appreciate the calm rivers and lakes, with the possibility of encountering the black and white fringe monkey.    <\/p><p>There are several activities to experience. Apart from the well-known game drives, horseback riding and walking safaris are also available. For bird lovers, this is a true paradise for spotting different species. There is also the possibility of climbing Mount Meru. Still prefer another active activity? Then choose canoeing.       <\/p><p><strong>Animals in Arusha National Park<\/strong><br>In addition to giraffe, buffalo, zebra and bushbuck, visitors here can also encounter the black and white fringe monkey and blue monkeys. Although predators such as leopards are rare, the park is a bird watcher&#8217;s paradise with unique species such as the Narina trogon.
